I did so bad at this work call today

I did so bad at this work call today I’ve been doing so well with my speech lately you guys but this work call was so bad. Today, this team forgot to include me on this client presentation call so they told me super last minute and I only had 20 minutes to prepare. I put together my speaker notes but it just went so bad. I couldn’t get most words out and I felt like an utter fool. And I felt embarrassed to be representing my company like this. I know this feeling won’t last forever but I really care about my career and to have everyone on the call from Sales to VP hear me struggle with my speech makes me want to hide in a hole. It also makes me feel dumb like sometimes I can’t say the exact answer so I say an alternative answer and it doesn’t sound as smart. Anyways, I just wanted to vent as I rarely tell my friends about this. I will continue to get better and need to practice everyday.
