I'm a nursing student and I work as a clinical external (assisting nurses and such) at a major hospital in my city. Pretty scary, I know. I find what helps is when I don't focus on ppl but focus on how I'm speaking, focusing on speaking slowly and gently, in that moment it's just me and my words, but I'm not giving too much focus in a way that makes me overly self conscious and anxiety ridden, just the right amount of focus that makes me not care about anybody else but also doesn't make me too attentive of how I'm speaking as too much attention could make me anxious, :) . Hope that makes sense lol
