Hi! I’ve been a server many times, I have a fairly bad stutter, and as long as you are charming, competent and hard working, it’s not a problem and I don’t tell them. They figure it out on their own, but by the time they do I’ve proven myself to be reliable and good at my job. Sometimes I’ll stutter with customers, and just smile as say, “Got a little speech impediment, bare with me” and it’s not a problem. Also, the few times it has been a problem, the people were assholes so everyone had my back. Good luck!
