The key is to talk really slow. Don't be in a hurry to finish the sentence. This is what they told me in therapy which I took for a few days way back when I was 22/23. Although it was useful and I was really fluent during therapy, I could not implement it during real life situations...most of the times I would start real slow but then involuntarily I would speed up my words and the stutter creeps in. I'm 29 now. I'm an MD doctor. I still stutter but I can keep it under control most of the times. I mostly avoid words and sentences that I know I can't speak fluently. I stick to my strengths. Avoid really long sentences. I'm a man of few words lol. Another important thing is to be confident. Don't mind what other people think of your stutter.
