DAE think the mind-body relationship is the most important aspect of your life in dealing with your impediment? Hello there, I’m a stutterer since I can remember, and something tells me it’s from 1. Trauma as a child 2. Developmental hiccups during adolesence and 3. A physical neurological process meaning patterns/mechanisms in the brain not functioning correctly. I was wondering if anyone else has been exposed to and practiced mindfulness and general awareness? It’s been a couple years since this stuff entered my life and I notice there’s a direct correlation between everything i.e. what I eat, how I sleep, life relationships, environment, daily activties- it’s all tied to my stutter. Generally if i’m doing well and in highs spirits, my stutter is like a faint image, a phantom and I barely notice and am comfortable. However, if i’m not doing well, it seems to manifest physiologically and exacerbates my stutter. Anyone else? Thoughts? Opinions? Thanks for reading
