Hi! My second language is also English, and I moved to the US 2,5 years ago, I am in high school. In the last two years my English improved a lot, but when it comes to talking I sometimes just can’t get the words out because my stutter stops me from doing it. It’s a terrible situation to be in. My teachers think that I still can’t speak very well, but the truth is when I am alone or with someone I know my English is pretty good when I am talking. So I’m so confused why I can’t speak the same way when I’m in school. I also didn't make any friends because of it. :(( The writing, reading and listening parts go well for me too, but the speaking part is just horrible.
