Hi! I have the same blocks you described, and I want to give a litle encouragement. I’m 28 now, and I went to college for 2 years when I was 23 to get an associates degree in robotics. It was really tough to speak and I usually would type on my phone what I wanted to say unless I could say the sentence without stuttering and at a good speed. I graduated after the 2 years and found a job as a maintenance technician at a semiconductor manufacturing facility. That was job tough in particular because I had to make a powerpoint every week and present it to my manager and an engineer. Well, I made it through every time but I was absolutely shitting it every time, not wanting to stutter and make it take that much longer. I have now been working as a robot programmer for 3 years and I don’t have to speak nearly as much, I do stutter every day but i’ve become good friends with many of my co-workers and a couple I consider really good friends. Still haven’t got a girlfriend, it’s been 10 years since I had a girlfriend but that’ll come in time as I become more comfortable and meet more people. It does get better and exposing yourself to those scary situations is really worth it no matter how anxious you may feel. Best of luck ❤️
