Can stuttering my caused by physical issues in the throat?
Content
Can stuttering my caused by physical issues in the throat? When I was a kid I had tubes in my ears, tonsils and adenoids removed (one of these 2 was the largest the doctor had seen in a kid) and just this week the ENT said I have a deviated septum that “8 out of 10 deviated”. Oh and sleep apnea 😅 Is there any research supporting or refuting that stuttering can be caused my adolescent structure issues? I tend to have all sorts of ENT issues and wonder if these are common us that stutter. I’m not terribly convinced that this is my case since I have 2-3 family members that stutter but maybe? I’m not looking for a solution just looking to figure out a little about why?
