They sometimes confuse me with a foreign national in my own country lol You read it correct. Because of my stutter, many people think that I'm not from here at first. When I have to talk with institution employees or HR people either through phone and face-to-face, they ask me like "are you from here cause you have a some kind of accent?". This has happened a lot in the last five years. It's sad that many people still have no idea that there could be something called stuttering/stutterers out there.
