Find out if your speech therapist has any formal training in treating dysfluency. If not, then they probably are treating you as if you have an articulation disorder. It’s as different as a doctor assuming every headache should only be treated w Advil. Look at SLP subs here and you’ll see many acknowledge they have no clue how to treat certain issues they are *paid* to treat. It’s not their fault, but their advice could definitely be making your dysfluency worse.
