We can't help you with "temporary" stuff, both because we're not professionals, and also because "temporary stuff" doesn't really exist. When you substitute words, you avoid stuttering likelihoods. You can continue with that approach - but of course, it's not a guarantee. Perhaps it would be better for you to admit that you stutter - first to yourself, in action, and then perhaps later in extended conversation with your guy there. People react differently when they're nervous. You could say you're nervous. You could stutter. It wouldn't be far from the truth - but of course, it wouldn't be the _entire_ truth, laid out. Consider also the potential for unhealthy behavioral patterns, if you feel like you have to lie in order to maintain a certain version of you. - Stuttering is not the end of the world. Try it out and see what happens. Most people tend to not really care about it in the end (especially the ones who like you).
