My 2 cents: When I stopped caring what other people thought of my stutter is the day that I stopped paying attention to my stutter. Stuttering is so individualized and each journey is so unique but for me, the moment I stopped caring what others thought is the day I stopped caring about my stutter. If all you focus on is your stutter, then your reality becomes your personality. There's a level of acceptance and embracing that this is what I have. It doesn't define WHO I am, it's just what I have. My confidence grew as a result and don't get me wrong, I still stutter when I'm confident but now, I don't give power anymore to my stutter. I'm in control now. This is NOT going to dictate every facet of my life. Cheers
