Talking to yourself positively will help you raise your self esteem so make you more confident which will make you stutter less Science shows that when you are already feeling bad about yourself positive affirmations will actually make yourself feel worse. You wont believe then and then feel bad because you are lying to yourself. If you do them do them in such a way that they sound somewhat plausible. Saying I like myself when you have yourself will only backfire.
