It was suggested that I join Toastmasters, International. It's a lunchtime group of other people working on their public speaking. It's not at all judgemental as everyone there has his own issues. I spoke once on the trial of being a stutterer. It was educational to everyone there. It also provides an opportunity to desensitize you to speaking socially.
