I know you posted this 2 years ago, but your story mirrors EXACTLY what I am going through with my recently turned 2 year old. She has always been very advanced language-wise (by 15 months she was saying at least 150 words so we stopped counting), she’s very social, etc. And then a stutter appeared out of nowhwhere about a week ago, with blocks, elongations, repeat sounds, all of it, and now she can barely get words out. We have an appointment with a speech language pathologist in 3 weeks, so I’m just trying to learn all I can in the meantime. How have things been with your daughter since your post? How have things been socially? How have you dealt with any negative reactions from other kids, if any? Has her disfluency improved with therapy? I’m so so nervous about all of it and I just want to support her in any way that I can.
