Anyone believe your mind holds you back?

Anyone believe your mind holds you back? I’ve stuttered for probably 36 years, does anyone else believe the mental baggage of being a life long stutterer holds you back? By that I mean, I’ve had countless types of therapy, retreats, devices, etc… but when the rubber meets the road and you have to apply [insert whatever therapy/device] to your daily life, there’s still a blocker? You still stutter, the emotions, mental anguish, baggage floods back, and it feels impossible to overcome? Like the therapy/device is half the battle, but without the winning the battle of overcoming your mind, the therapy doesn’t matter.
