Yup, that's a known feature of stuttering. I'm pretty sure we all get that in various degrees from time to time. :) However, I think it's important that you don't start worrying about this: >I theorize that the more I say certain sounds, the more likely I am to begin stuttering on them, whereas sounds I don't make as often will become easier. Edit: I believe this is why saying our names often challenges stutterers, as they are used to saying it so much. It'll only make things more difficult for you to start "indexing" somehow, I predict. You could work on general stutter management instead - in other words, speech therapy, if you haven't tried it already.
