I suggest you put the registration into your partners name or one of your sons. I myself have been detained a couple of times due to public intoxication due to misunderstandings to do with my stutter. I have used a business card i got from speech therapy as evidence of my stutter. Maybe you could make some kind of info sheet. Idk tbh its difficult to deal with people who are taught to be suspicious about everything and who have a preconceived notion to believe everyone is lying.
