Keep expressing yourself even when it’s hard. Journal. Write here. Talk to yourself. Go for a run or workout. When I was a teen and my stutter was incapacitating, I would often feel overload with hopelessness. I realize now, maaaaaaany year later that I was feeling overrun with unexpressed words, feelings, needs, wants, and more because I could say them clearly enough. Maybe release the valve elsewhere as I suggest to my teen self all the time might help.
