Hmm, how about this bit here? > stutter in that conversation or **sometimes not at all** and I have after thoughts of regret - Perhaps I could ask differently: • What's your success criteria for participating in a conversation? • What sort of feedback loop are you expecting from a conversation? • Have you reflected on how people react, if there's any reaction at all? - The reason I ask like I do is because I think we might be likely to get sort of disconnected from the social dynamic ("falling out of the habit", so to speak), because we're spending so much effort trying to manage our speech, instead of just being there and taking part. Do you think this might apply to you? The "aftermath" wouldn't be 'regret' as much as just a general feeling of "a bummer", because conversation simply takes more out of you than what you get from it. Something like that. Does it make sense?
