Can I overcome/'fix' my stutter? I'll get right to it. I didn't stutter whatsoever before I turned 11. From 11 up till I turned 14, my stuttering was episodic. It used to happen for a month or two and then stop. From the time I turned 14 up till now (18), it's been a constant struggle. I don't stutter when I read out loud or talk to myself. I have been known for speaking too fast though. And there have been moments when it turned dormant. Like I had a speaking test (1 on 1 interview) recently and I've gotta say: I don't think I stuttered even once. Plus there have been certain conversations where even the thought of stuttering didn't creep up and I pulled through with ease. I'm not sure if it's fixable. I sure as hell want it to be. I guess I wanted to type it out so it's not just in my head.
