First of all, my condolences. Second, my mother in law is a speech therapist who often works with people who develop speech problems after having a seizure. They tend to get better under her care, but she can't seem to do much for me, a nearly life-long stutterer. I don't have an explanation for this, but my theory is that those faced with sudden-onset stuttering tend to attack it with more force and conviction than those who have lived with it for a long time. Now is your chance -- go find a good therapist and nip it in the bud!
