Those who speak multiple languages do you stutter more in one language over the other My 1st language is Spanish , but learned English at around 6 in school since I live in the US. At home , with family I have only ever spoken Spanish But the rest of my friends , work school all English. In Spanish my stutter is so bad ! Always has been since I was a kid till now as a 35 year old . My dad has a bad stutter as well ! But English 98 % of my speaking has almost no stutter My mom says “your Brain just goes to fast for your mouth” But it drives me absolutely crazy ! I hate Trying to have a normal conversation and my mouth is making sounds like a cricket doing a mating call 😂 I can’t understand why it’s so bad on my 1st language but almost absolutely nothing for my 2nd. It does happen but it’s rare.
