OP, you and me both. I've stuttered ever since I can remember and almost on a daily basis I tend to daydream as to how my life would be different if i had fluent speech. Honestly, I'm at a point now after gone to speech therapy for a while and just talking to someone, I don't really care what ppl think. Ya time to time I tend to think about what ppl will say or do when they notice the stutter, but I don't let that stop me from living my life how I want. I'm currently applying for the Special Forces unit where I live, after being 7 yrs now in the military. Had my ups and downs with the stutter situation, but it is what it is. I'm going in understanding that my stutter can be viewed as a big disability, communication wise, but I won't let that stop me from trying. Worst they can tell me is no.
