I'm learning English since second grade at school and I wasn't good until 2½ years ago, when I still had the old teacher. when we got the new one, I was way more motivated. and what the key was? YouTube and movies/shows many people learn or master English just by watching YouTube videos! just any kind of video they like Russian is my mother language. my parents talked to me in Russian all the time when I was younger but now I can only say a few words — but I can understand a lot. and let's not talk about my pronunciation it's soo bad when I'm in school or at home just reading, I can notice that I don't stutter as much when I read English. reading out loud is super hard and it's the worst when I read German. vowels and st, stp and all the other hard sounds where you can block. hope it helped! good luck learning German :) if you have Netflix or anything to stream shows and movies you can choose a German audio and English audio or the other way around. when I got more into learning languages, many people said that they could read good but when they people started to talk in that language, it was way too fast for them to understand anything. so get used to the speaking too
