I would say it definitely made it worse for me. I mean, my mom died of lung cancer when I was 9, and a year later my dad quite literally went to the store and never came back. And when I was still with both of them, it sucked. The power went out a lot, the water got shut off a few times, etc. I remember one time, I got so thirsty, we didn't have any real drinks and the water was off, so I grabbed the closest thing to a liquid, which so happened to be pickle juice. So, needless to say, not fun. But Im in a better place and my stutter just needs some work then I'm sure I'll be fine.
