I tend to stutter With words starting from A , E , I , O , U what i do is i try to add a word before it for example if the sentances is starting with Army i try to add The , I know it tweaks the meaning but trust me the embarrassment will be be 10 times less than stuttering , People will forget it as "it was just a word extra spoken by-mistake" rather than going for it or stuttering
