Is anyone else more fluent when under pressure?

Is anyone else more fluent when under pressure? I don't know if "under pressure" is the right way to describe it, but for example when I have to answer a question the teacher asks me. I have been able to say multiple sentences without any kind of trouble even in situations what I consider very hard to speak in.
