Learning how to sing helps a lot. It makes you use your diaphragm and throat muscles. Which carries over to normal speaking. I started singing in college and it was night and day after I actually learned how to sing. Also if I stop for awhile I get less fluent. Probably the most influential thing for me at least. I don’t have any factual data to back it up though.
