I suspect my friends know but we haven’t had an official conversation about it. To be honest, I didn’t come to terms with it until I hit my 30’s; I FINALLY had the “talk” with my husband who is so supportive and patient. I can even recall the day my stutter reared it’s head. My stuttering was worse when I was a child and downright disappeared in my teens only to resurface in my late twenties. It doesn’t appear to be going anywhere anytime soon. I struggle with words that start with an “f” or “s”.
