Sorry about your mom..I watched my grandmother suffer with Alzheimer's and it's the worst thing I can think of in this world. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy and I'm scared of its heritability, even though every study says it's rarely genetic. Not trying to make this depressing, just really sorry about your mom. Hopefully you're able to get through with everything, and hopefully a cure is developed soon, or at least anyway to massively slow the progression.
