Started anxiety counseling and exploring the relationship between my severe anxiety and stutter I tried listening to relaxation scripts every night before bed, suggested by my counselor last week. As a result I’ve been sleeping better, falling asleep easier, feeling more relaxed in the morning, and every day since I’ve been doing the relaxation techniques I’ve noticed I’ve been more fluent and felt more energized. I stopped taking vitamin b1 to see if my stutter would worsen once I was off of it, and it didn’t. I made a post about vitamin b1 helping me but I think now that it wasn’t the fuckin vitamin, it was me being pro-active about my anxiety, eating well, and sleeping better because of what I learned to utilize in counseling. Next week I’m confronting my family and friends about how they perceive my stutter, and writing a series of letters as an exercise to prepare me for the responses I might get. Tonight I’m talking with my sister and parents, in 1-2 weeks I’m talking with my brother who I mentioned mocks me and belittles me when I stutter. Wish me luck.
