It did for me in some ways, I was in elementary school so I don’t remember everything. The major improvement was my pronunciation. The SLP at my school asked my parents to take a video recording of me speaking and to have me watch it as proof that I wasn’t speaking clearly. I was taught to slow my speech down and actually breathe properly which is helpful for a stutter. I do remember going over these weird tongue twisters that just kinda discouraged me though.
