Does anyone take steroids regularly? They have a side effect of stuttering which sucks for us!!

Does anyone take steroids regularly? They have a side effect of stuttering which sucks for us!! I have severe asthma and it's flaring up right now so I'm on prednisone. My stutter is much worse, I'm blocking and some of my face ticks are back. I hate this. I went to 3 different allergy/asthma specialists to see if there's anything else I can take but they all said prednisone or methylprednisolone is it. My latest Dr. told me to take 1/2 as much for twice as long which helps a bit. I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with steroids?
