Some think that stuttering on the name has not much to do with the sound - that no matter what your name is you are likely to have a hard time with it. I think the sound does make a difference. Plosive sounds are hard for some more than others. If you had a different name, with starting with a different, easier sound, would you be able to say that easily? Something to try out. PS: Changing your legal name is an option in many countries and if you are relatively young, why not go through it if it will give you confidence in conversations (start of a conversations make a big difference)
