Tongue ties?

Tongue ties? Before I write this I’m not saying cutting a tongue tie will cure a stutter. Basically I came across a vid about tongue ties on TikTok and I have a tongue tie (ankyloglossia) . I went on google and found out that having a tongue tie MAY affect certain sounds when speaking and articulation. I’m not sure how true this is but has anyone ever done research on this? Maybe this can help someone who has speech blocks like me
