I have to say, life is much easier and more peaceful if you find a job with less verbal communication. Prior to my current job, I worked in a warehouse. They paid $30/hr. Barely any speaking required. Current job is accounting based and requires zoom calls. I’ve created a list of synonyms for every accounting word and I have it visible on every call. The biggest issue is introductions, which I try to move past immediately.
