It’s taken daily. It might not be effective immediately, though. Antidepressants can take 4-6 weeks to have any effect on depression. I can’t remember how long I’d been taking it before I realized that I no longer stuttered, but it couldn’t have been more than a few months. Realize that it might not work for you. Everyone stutters from a different cause and in his/her own way. The causes of stuttering can be physical and/or emotional. Not every person reacts to medication in the exact same way.
