I'm a 16 year old male teenager right now, and you appear to be a fair bit more mature than I am. Regardless this is my take on your situation. Do you stutter with people other than your boyfriend, and it is only not with your boyfriend? Also, I know from experience that stuttering can be something which causes us to lose self esteem sort of. I don't think I can tell you if you should have children or not, I am not qualified. But I definitely don't think you should choose not to have them because you fear they will stutter. Stuttering is a battle that all of us fellow stutterers face in our lives, and despite it posing as an obstacle, our job is to always climb around it and experience life like anyone else would. As for your boyfriend knowing that you have a stutter, if you are able to still find happiness with each other, then I really don't see any issue with him knowing you stutter. You should tell him you have a stuttering problem, as stuttering does not go away over night. It can take months if you are lucky, and years with constant practice. Telling him right now, will make it so he is also aware, and can even help you practice! Don't worry, you will get through this. Good luck, my friend!
