Yeah, it's not so in line with current research but then I don't think there's enough time or money being spent on stuttering research to get the full picture. As you say, it could indicate neurological pathways unsuitable for overstimulation. More evidence is that i don't stutter when I'm angry as I've reached an emotional state where I don't care what people think anymore - I've removed the mask (similar masking to autism) and are just speaking straight I also know whether a stutter is going to be good or bad based on *that* feeling a good few words before - I've hypothesed that that might be a form of anxiety cresting a self-fullfiling prophesy... alas, I'm all theory little result haha - Guess we'll know more in the future Hope things are going well for you
