As someone who struggled to say my name for decades, realizing *why* has been a major help. If you have hard, silent blocks and have developed a habit of word switching or avoiding, any unavoidable word/situation is very likely to cause excess fear. Your own name is essentially the most unavoidable thing you need to say. If you are able to speak and articulate all the sounds in your name normally while alone, then the issue is an unhelpful dependence on word switching. Please see a post I linked in another comment to read about tangible steps to be much less impacted by your stutter blocks.
