I don’t really have any advice because I just looked up the same problem on the internet and found your post. Just wanted to let you know you’re not alone and that I’m having the same problem recently. I’ve always had pretty severe social anxiety but always been extroverted/social as well (a great combination right? 😂). But I’ve never had a problem with stuttering until about a month or 2 ago. It’s really stressful and embarrassing and makes my anxiety worse which in turn makes the stuttering worse. Like you it’s pretty much only at the beginning of when I start speaking. I tend to speak fast and I notice that if I start out trying to speak fast that’s mostly when it happens. I don’t just stutter, I get tongue tied too. In the future if you think your stutter was really obvious to people you’re talking too I’d recommend just pointing it out yourself and laughing at it, like “geez I can’t speak right now hahaha.” That way it brings the mood up and you’re not all mortified and wondering what people think. Either way it’s sucks and I don’t know why it’s happening to us 🥲
