It happens to be but a lot less than around people. My mother tongue is Spanish, in which I verbally communicate the most. That's the language I stutter the most in too. And in which I'm attempting to implement the tools and techniques my speech therapist is teaching me. But I speak to myself in English, I think mostly in English and often speak to myself out loud. That's usually very fluent to the point I forget I usually stutter However, last December I had an English test to get my next official certification. Since I was nervous already because I knew I was being punctuated and there were three other people I hadn't met in my life, I stuttered a lot. They knew and gave me extra time and all that but still it was my lowest mark. So yeah, it is very usual.
