Psychiatry /medication Hi all. Hope all is good. My stuttering has been really out of control lately. Can maybe get 2 words in before a pause of about 30 seconds. Really getting me down and getting in the way of my consulting career. I decided to go see a psychologist last week and will now also see a psychiatrist. Has anyone had any positive results from a psychiatry approach? Was any meds given to you which helped? Am a bit cautious because it will be really expensive (to give you an idea, the psychiatrists where i live cost about the same as buying a new fridge where i live). It has, however, given me some hope that help might be on the way
