Seems like your anxiety increases the stutter a lot (so does mine). What really helped me was sports. Not everyone is active or enjoys it but I guarantee you if you find the will to take up a physical activity that you can do on a regular basis, it will reduce the anxiety significantly. When I finish my boxing workouts, I am so physically drained but my brain is full of serotonin and dopamine, it reduces 80-90% of my stutter for the rest of the day. It also helps with sleep, contributing also to decreased overall anxiety. Also, my advice is to accept it as a part of who you are and that you (we) have to work on it everyday. It may be hard to see but the more negatively you see it, the more anxiety it will produce. I try to see it as an extra challenge that I have to face everyday, but I tackle it head on.
