Really interesting software, given that the whispering = no stutter hypothesis is true. Sounds reasonable from personal experience but needs to be tested in high-stress situations (how it can be tested I have no idea, try whispering your order at Starbucks? I would rather stick it on my forehead). That being said, there are some practical issues around the use of such software. Whispering looks different than normal speaking on video, and it could be difficult to convey emotion through speech, or try to approximate how the software would transform that speech etc. without previous experimentation.
