All I know is that I was very confused and desperately upset, when as a little fella (5, 6….) I could see others speak away in class, with friends, most importantly at home with family…I did not understand it…I felt terribly alone and no-one had any idea how much of a impact stammering was starting to have…”how come I can’t say these simple words” - “what is wrong with me?” As a young child, very hard to understand…that’s all I knew…
