I'm only a 1st year, but I'm majoring in mechanical engineering. So far, my stutter has been as much of a challenge as it was in highschool... People not understanding and making fun of my blocks, teachers trying to take points off my oral presentations because they think my stutter means I'm just nervous or don't know my part, not feeling confident answering questions because I might stutter while I say it, etc etc. You get used to it though, it's totally doable. Your professors and classmates get used to it too, eventually. College might be harder for us than for a non-stutterer, but it's very far from impossible. Don't let your stutter scare you away from higher education.
