Do.you ever portray yourself as something you're not just to kinda hide the fact you stutter? This may seem like a confusing question cause hell I couldn't even find the right wording for it. But basically to use myself as an example. If I feel like I'm about to stutter I usually act like I forgot what I was going to say or I zoned out. I can come off as a complete airhead half the time but I know what I'm talking about just can't express myself the way I wish I could without freaking people out with my stutter.
