A good Bourbon on the rocks does wonders for my speech… LOL. It does help but I have a drink once or twice a month, I can feel my body relax after 15 minutes. My husband has Alzheimer’s, so when we go out I never drink because I’m the driver. To relax I do several gentle neck rolls, several shoulder rolls and finally I move my jaw from side to side to loosen my facial and jaw muscles. I really helps if you can sit somewhere alone and close your eyes while you do the exercises. If you cannot get away from people, you can still do the neck and shoulder rolls discreetly.
